Hooker Twp,Ne
Started on an 8n ford with a drag and dad would let me drag the place when I was 5 years old. Also had Farmall H and I had to wait till I was 8 to drive it. Then farmall 504, then farmall 656, jd 4010 was first tractor I bought. Then added 4020 with cab,886 ih,4030 with new style cab in mid 70s, then jd 4450, jd 4755, jd 8225, current between son and me jd 8335r,8235r,jd7830,jd 7215r. Planters First planter I planted with was 4 row dempster lister 36” rows mounted. then jd 694, then jd 7000 6 row 30”, then Kinze 6 row 30”,then Kinze 12 row 30”, now on 3rd 16 row Kinze 30”. Started with single row woods picker to jd 45 combine no cab two row head. To 45 cab, then 410 Massey gas ( hot rider at wheat harvest) Had NH but can’t remember number to jd 4400 to jd9400 to case ih 2377 to 7230 and 8230. Lot of changes during that time frame. Some of best changes were the cab, planter monitors, not spraying behind planter, hated that band spraying for years, CB radios, cell phones,( for communication) row shutoff, and auto steer.
