Southeast Washington
In the old days before air brakes we could bump start the tractors or trucks by parking on a hill. Our first drill fill was 12 volt electric motor on a 4 inch auger. The later hydraulic drill fills had a rope to pull the hydraulic lever so no solenoid. That sounds really advanced. Much nicer now though to have an air cart that only is about 1 foot wide at the bottom to feed a 50 for drill versus the old days of having a ride at the end to keep seed in all the cups of a box drill especially on hills when the grain would always shift down the hill. No worries now till the blockage monitor goes off.
