Glenn I suspect you may know the BTO that I referenced as I think they are also up in your area.

The next area I would like to get into is yield monitoring. Doubt it will be this year. Did put auto steer in the 1470 last year, have no idea dollar wise what the improvement was. When my hired help is in the machine quite often it was not being run at full cut capacity, with auto steer it comes a lot closer. Did it take days off harvest No. If I had put new GPS in would the payback be worth it? I doubt it. If it goes down does the machine come to a stop, no not at all. 

The 1470 has around 6k hours on it now it is far from being wore out. Yes it gets parts installed, just what I would consider normal wear and tear. 

Maybe we can get together someday for an eyeball and a cup of joe.
