| The first year I drove a spreader truck I went out to spread on a farm and they told me the farmer was going to ride with me.
He only wanted fertilizer spread on the ridges "so the rain will wash it down hill" it was the first time he had spread any fertilizer in 30 years or more and had always been in beans. Even then it was only 200# of 9-23-30.
When we got all done he said "I sure hope xxx was right and this gets me 5 BPA that will put me up to 30!"
The neighboring farms were upset if their soybean yields didn't start with a 7. | |
