I've had a few people tell me using anhydrous would ruin the soil. Supposedly the ground gets too hard to farm and I'm killing off all the earth worms. Haven't seen either of those happen.
Those things can happen, but only in exceptional conditions. They built runways in WW2 with ammonia, but it was limestone soil, and they used hundreds of times as much ammonia.
It may be true about the earth worms, but I'm not sure how they affect crop production.
Never used fertilizer
