| Thanks for the advice and info! What I’m trying to do is make a short jumper cable so that I can mount a PCB in a sealed box and mount the connections to it that I need onto the box so that I can just plug cords into it without opening the box. By sealed I mean mainly dust proof.
I was hoping to keep the connectors the same style just to keep it simpler for future troubleshooting and avoid having to translate pin location to a different style of connector. Perhaps that would have been a better way to go though.
What are the odds of being able to solder individual wires onto the pins on the backside of this connector? I was thinking then maybe I could slide heat shrink tubing over the joint to ensure the pins never come in contact with each other. There would never be any pull or movement on them after the install.
