Alpena MI | A friend of mine and I were fishing on a boat near the bank of a river when my friend caught the largest sheepshead either of us had ever seen. It weighed a bit over 5#. A black gentleman fishing from the shore wondered what we were going to do with it. When we told him we’re just going to throw it back, he asked if he could have the sheepshead if he gave us a walleye. So we got a 3# walleye and he got a 5# sheepshead. I have no idea how he was going to cook it but I know how we cooked the walleye! | |
