Tail up 6:00 am.
Progressing normally….but slow.
Both feet out..not breech …maybe twisted a bit….let her keep going.
10:30….working and gets him out…
Calf is not dead…but lifeless…..
Hes drifting….I give him mouth to nose for a few big breaths and he comes around…Started hacking and etc. He’s good to go and I go ask the wife for one of her diet Cokes and promise not to kiss her for a day or two.
My question is….what do “ you” do in this situation to jump start a calf that been though a long birth?
Airway full of fluid…seconds after birth and lifeless.
