AgOpenGPS is an open source Windows program that can be used for autosteer, guidance, section control, and many other features that are typically found in expensive name brand precision agriculture companies.
The software is free, there are no fees or unlock fees or subscriptions. There is information online how to make it work with most hydraulic valves and many different steer motors. Disclaimer: Use at your own risk. Officially the software is strictly educational software.
First there is the U turn setup menu where different dimensions are entered to match equipment.
Second there is the U turn on/off setting. U turns are automatically generated based off the boundary. The direction of the U turn can be reversed by clicking the top right arrow, which also has a distance count down.
Third there is the skip pass setting. The U turn direction and skips will be automatically generated to create sort of a spiral.
