#2. As you said, PWM nozzles are ideal. In the PGNs (Parameter Group Number) that AgOpenPS sends out to the UDP network (ethernet and/or wifi), there exists PGN229. This PGN contains the state of all the sections (up to 64 sections are supported), as well as the speed of the left tip of the implement and the speed of the right tip of the implement. This information can easily be read by an Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Teensy, ESP32, windows computer, basically any microcontroller. If you know the speed of each tip, and you know the width, then you can calculate the speed anywhere along the length of the tool. A PWM nozzle controller could use this information to adjust the PWM duty of the nozzles and ensure proper coverage. To my knowledge no one has done this yet with a PWM sprayer, but some are using the same information for corn planters with individual electric row drives. They are able to maintain constant plant-plant spacing during curves. Same kind of idea.

Just as a side note: 64 sections are supported but there is only room on the screen for 16 override groups. If you have 16 or more sections you have to group them. I you have 16 or less sections, you can choose to group them. The sections in auto will still work individually, its just manual overrides when they act as groups. Even as 12 row planter is almost too many buttons to run and setting it up as 3 or 4 groups makes more sense sometimes. Below is a 60 section sprayer set up as 5 groups with various modes (manual on/manual off/auto) coming into an already sprayed section. The groups do not have to be equal sizes, but they are in my example. Also an inch rounding error in one of the displays.
