We still sleep on a water bed have been for 29 years so you are not the only one. Just yesterday we bought a new california king pillow top mattress to replace the water mattress. My wife has been having back pain the last few years we have slept on some other beds and her back feels better so we are changing. Hope this helps her back dr. says it should help.
