NW Washington | Go to a good store that will let you try them out. We recently got a new mattress from a local store and salesman was helpful. They will even take it back if you don't like it for six weeks for so. The new one is a vast improvement over the old one we had had for at least 10 years. I feel a lot better in the morning now. But the firmness and whether or not it has a soft "plush top" are all personal preferences.
A few nights on a Select Comfort in a hotel cured us of that idea.
A while back there was a thread about the beds Hampton Inns use and how good they are and that you can actually buy one of them. http://www.epinions.com/review/The_Cloud_Nine_Bed_by_Serta/content_... | |
