| My garage is 26' wide by 28' deep and unless you drive small vehicles it's a one car garage. Mine has a 16' door and I'd much rather have two 8' doors or even better would be 10' doors. In my opinion you need the space between the two doors for getting in and out of vehicles without hitting the other vehicle, especially when unloading groceries or other stuff. Also my door is 7' tall and my 3/4 ton Dodge truck has just over an inch of clearance going in so I would go with 8' tall doors. The floor drain is a good idea and something I wish I had and you might consider placing a second drain by the house door so when you take snowy boots off in the winter they can dry off without leaving puddles on the floor. | |
