24' is too narrow 26 is better but 28-30 is best. 2 9' doors work for us. I put 1/2 hp openers in at 1st, when 1 stripped a gear I threw a 1/4 in til the pert came, that was 8 years ago. No trouble, the 1/2 hp went on another door. Drain is a must and make sure the cement guys slope it right. My doors are on the eve side without a snow drift problem. Don't know how you plan that.
