Wife likes me to save venison heart and she will slice it thin and fry it in butter. I'll eat it but it's nothing special. Last year I smoked and pickled a couple of beef hearts and tongues. Not worth the time but I hate seeing them go to waste. They usually get forgotten in my parents freezer so those I just give to the dogs. Joe.
