Wheatley, Arkansas | We use Baldwin on everything except a few newer Deere's that Baldwin doesn't have yet. We've been doing so for years, farm equipment as well as OTR trucks. Some will trash talk Baldwin filters but we haven't had any problems with them. If you use a lot of filters and have a major supply house close by you can negotiate a blue pricing discount with them and save quite a bit of money also.
We send oil analysis in at each oil change and the samples have never indicated any deficiencies in the Baldwin filters. When we started oil analysis a few years ago we were changing OTR trucks oil at 10,000 miles, the Oil analysis results would bump us up 5000 miles each change until we quit raising it at 30000 miles. The oil samples still come back each time saying to bump up another 5000 but we are comfortable where we are. By the way we are using Citgo CITIGUARD 600 motor oil in our OTR trucks and CENEX 15W40 in our farm equipment.
