Yeah, what Mike R said. The formula works on kernels per acre, the yield that you get paid on is figured on bushels per acre which in todays market is determined by weight, not volume or # of kernels. I'll agree, TW is an outmoded, outdated method to grade the quality of corn. A more fair way to measure would be to sell by the 100 wt.
