You ask the question is tw a volume measure. Of course it is. In order to come up with a tw you need to measure a certain volume. Most guys use the little cup with a weight on the end. We can always judge TW by the first trucks out of the bin, after using the same trucks for years you can usually tell as soon as you pull on the scale if the TW is good or bad. It is just a bigger scale.
Think most guys worry way to much about it. You don't buy fertilizer by the volume,or much else. The seed companies are a few steps ahead of us. They have learned to sell by the kernal and TW be damned. We are still in the stage of argueing about it.
