Being you are talking about the "early" hybrids which are full season here if you can find some NK 43C4 it is a good drought corn. you definitly want a corn with good roots and you need to protect them with insecticide or the rootworm trait. Look for corns that claim to be good for western MN and South Dakota dryland conditions.
