Subject: RE: USDA: More corn needed for ethanol

Renville Minnesota

"The committee's chairman, Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Okla., expressed concern that the use of corn for ethanol could wind up raising food prices significantly."

Ya mean we will won't get welfare from the government anymore!!!  Whew hoo!!!

"The record average annual price of corn was set in 1995 at $3.24 a bushel. This year, the USDA expects corn prices to average between $2.15 and $2.55 a bushel."

1995..... 11 years ago!   What has fert, land, seed, FUEL, done since then? Have those bozo's priced copper wire lately?

Good post, this reply is directed to the worried fella's who are scared to raise the price of food, when all inputs have risen dramatically in the past ten.......especially eleven years.

Good Luck
