I agree farmers shouldn't be looked down upon when they make profits, even the rare occassion when they make huge profits. You don't see anybody talking about actually taking away some of the oil companies' profits. Its even worse when the profits people are crying about are the results of investment, not some govt handout that encourages big farmers to expand. Profits are what allows farmers to replace equipment and facilities, improve their livestock, increase the productivity of the land, and allow future generations to enter farming. Profits eliminate the need for govt programs.
