We've grown 60+ bu beans......last year included. Never had the shatter loss as much as you speak of. Only pods close to the ground-not something you see much when you're talking 40 and up beans. With a pint of Gromoxone you're looking at at least $4/acre for just the chemical......not counting having to spray it. In his case, he'd have to hire it done.....there's another $5-6. Starting to get pretty expensive now. I'd sure hope you can do it.......like I say, we can do it in 60+ without the gromoxone.
