| If the soybean stems are that tough and the corn is "going down and collapsing" then I would start by taking off the corn in poorest shape and keep going. If you get a big wind storm then you will not be a happy camper trying to pick up flat corn while the soybeans won't lodge more in a week then they are now. Also, another consideration is that corn might actually be worth something decent next summer while I see no potential in soybeans at all which is just my opinion. Finally, I few days of rain will really make the corn stalks deteriorate while you might actually be able to get some extra moisture back into the soybeans. | |
