sw corner Ia | This has happened to me twice. Both times it hurt. I had some beans like yours, thought the corn needed my attention. Hail went through one night and combined my beans for me. The corn was uninjured. I will never stop bean harvest if I can get the beans. Your corn has to be pretty flat before you can't get it, but you must be the judge.
Maybe hiring a neighbor to help might work? Looks like you might minimize the loss. Just a thought.. good luck, and remember safety first. | |
