sw corner Ia | Just fyi.. when I bought my rollacones last season, it was for a weather related reason, which was when the corn was tasselling, we had a 2" rain. About 6 hours later we had another thunderstorm with only a little more rain but 60 mph winds. The ground was so soft the considerable root system on the corn couldn't support the plant and it tipped over. It straightened itself up some but it was all over the place. I had no problem picking it right back up.
This is just a really tough year, and it isn't over yet. | |
