Subject: The EPC is

simply a group of Anti Livestock people that were appointed governor by Vilsack (D) to a commission that really has no power to make laws, trying to grab the power to make laws from the Legislature. Kind of like the Iowa DNR.

The biggest problem will come with farrowing units. Most large sow units only have enough manure storage to go around 7-8 months. Nobody and I mean nobody wants to have manure applied (in the Spring) with tanks on ground that is going to be planted to corn. Also there is very little N in the manure from sow units, because of the amount of power washing they do and the limited amount of feed that is fed to gestating sows.

Like Jake said a change of power in Des Moines would help greatly.
I will be voting for Nussle and would advise anybody that farms to do the same. There are many reasons for this, just ask if you need reasons.

Edit for spelling.
