mascoutah, IL		Not sure what part of southern IL you are from but “here” all you would need to do is pay taxes and provide land. In my neighborhood 1/3 to the landowner is probably not enough especially on a bean crop. That’s the problem, corn makes the LL more but beans can make the tenant more depending on the year. That being said I am on 225 and 70 APH land located 25 miles from river terminals with better basis than some. Didn’t read all the responses but I share crop half my acres and I pay for everything including trucking, lime, fertilizer etc. Email is in profile if you have any questions you would like answered. Once again it really kind of depends on soil types and location.
