I will be a crop share landlord at some point. I will expect my grain to be delivered to the closest point from my bins for free. If I sell my share at another place, I will pay the difference between what it would cost to the nearby location and the place that I’ve sold to.
In my part of north iowa, 50/50 is a sweetheart deal. I’d haul the grain and like it.
