One way to look at it is how much money do you figure all the equipment/labor add up to on the landlords share of acres? Around here for tillage, spray, fertilize, plant, and harvest I figure that's 100-110 an acre. Rent in this area is over 200 an acre.
So all trucking would be included here, and that would still be cheap rent on your half of the 50/50 acres. I've seen 50/50 deals where the Tennent does normal 50/50 but then give some extra $ per acre for their half of the 50/50 acres.
