So where are you located, time of year you are going to plant and what are you planting it for? I can't say I have a answer but those things will help those that do. Being one that raises a garden with different things planted in rows the two things that deer seem to like the most is carrots and table beets. Both of those are not really easy to get a stand of. Different varieties of brassilia seem to come up easily on worked soil very lightly covered or just top sowed and a good rain. Not a good answer just some thoughts. Southern peas or Cowpens work good in a summer mix.
