Early planting beans in the south?

It doesn't really matter if you plant beans in April or May. Getting timely rain when pods start to fill is more of the key. I plant beans mid-April and most years do very good. Two years ago beans planted in May out yielded April beans. Only because they never had the rain to finish them. Beans under a pivot where I could control the rain did lower 90s. It's a crapshoot most years, but for me most years early beans have out yielded later beans.
