Ludington/Manistee MI area

Here deer pressure and late August rains determine bean yields.  Here if you plant too early and they don’t take off once they emerge the deer just clip them off.  Up here if I’m rolling Mother’s Day weekend I’m content. I see more gain planting corn and oats early than beans.
