I can't keep one working more than four or five years. Now, I go to Wal Mart, and buy the cheapest one.

Don't know what you mean by "around the house", but beware of the high pressure models. You can peel off a lot of paint from your house, machinery if not careful. My farm house is wood sided and painted. I pressure washed it once, prior to painting, but I won't do that again. showboat
