If you have vinyl siding on the house that gets dingy or moldy on the north side, like most up here do, a pressure washer is a good idea. I use a 7.5 hp machine and don't remember the specs, but it throws a lot of water pretty hard. It does my equipment and my house. On siding I don't like to get too close. It works really well for both jobs.

Pro tip. Get a LOOOONNGGG hose.
