SW OH | I wash my deck once a year, it gets slick from tree sap. I tried my sons electric because it was already here. It's rated at 1,000 PSI and 1.5 GPM. After 5 minutes I went to the farm and got my gas powered one. 4.2 GPM at 3,200 PSI. The electric would have taken me several hours. My gas powered took me less than 30 minutes.
There used to be a "cleaning formula" of GPM times PSI equals cleaning units. Buy the most GPM and highest PSI you can afford. Heat is a times 2 on equipment. A turbo nozzle is a good upgrade.
There's no such thing as to much pressure or to much volume. I watched a 30,000 PSI, 12 GPM pressure washer wash a paver. It was powered by a 3306 CAT. You just have to know how to use it.
