Farmland, IN | Jonathan brad and I are friends so I'll respond in case he doesn't see this...his dad's name was Don and I'm guessing the older bearded fella you're referring to is Elmer Hall. Elmer worked for the Allis dealer in Modoc for years, and yes he was a wizard with baler knotters (he worked on my dad's baler a couple times). The first tractor I bought to farm with during college was a Case 1570 with a blown motor. We drug it over to Elmer's place and he rebuilt it that winter for $500 labor and it's still running strong to this day. | |
