Jon I think you're referring to Verlin Jones. Great guy. He co-owned the Davis and Jones John Deere dealership with Jim Davis there on the east side of winchester (formerly Rickert Implement). Lived at Indian Trail Lake just north of Modoc. He died a few years ago. Bought my first planter from their store in the mid 90's.
Verlin, yes, he was on my Advisory board and the school board. Outstanding gentleman. |
