My hubby and I have 2 months left to go on the first baby, so I don't have much experience. But from what I've heard, some good advice is to have just you and your wife in the delivery room and not a bunch of extra family. I think it's too personal a thing for everyone to experience. I would rather the first few minutes together just be mom, dad and baby.
