And say the full name....first, middle and last.... out loud over and over.  Take your mind back to those days of being a smart-a$$ teenager and see if you can make any sort of crude nickname out of any portion of the name. 

The prime example of what not to name your kid was a girl from a near-by high school when I was younger.  She was a very talented basketball player and her name was in the paper weekly.  Fonda Dicks.
