Ravenna Ohio | Did both C section and natural. Got in trouble with wife for talking sports with Doc while he gave me a full tour of body parts while doing Post C inspection and stiching.
I wish I had video of natural birth to prove she really said that. Lamaze nurse was right when she said women may not remember everything they may say.
Have your phone list. cell may not be allowed
Keep your snacks out of sight ( she can't have any )
Nurses are great support.
Help her focus. If you are tired think what she is.
Know now what Doc expects of you, including if you can catch or look over shoulder
Agree on visitor limits. The next couple weeks are a blur and a thrill.
