Ask your mother in law. They are usually full of helpful advice :)

Good luck, we tried all kinds of advice yet two of my three kids were nothing short of awful for sleeping, the middle one was no problem. By awful I mean up every night, once or twice, sometimes for an hour, until they were around 8 months old. The oldest and youngest have very similar personalities, usually in a good mood / happy. My middle son? He causes about 90% of the 'discipline problems' now, loves to get on everyones nerves and get a rise out of people. Maybe we are paying for how well he slept as a baby. ;)
