Much of our irrigated never lost the moisture from last year on the second and third foot. I do agree though, this time of year with the overal subsoil situation its a bad idea to get behind. We are basically 6 weeks from being kind of "over the hump" on water use. Not the time for screwups.

Missing out tonight is gonna put a real bullseye on the dryland. I can see it folding up fairly quick after next week. Glad to see moderate temps on the forecast.
