West Central IN
My grandfather is 86 and has mostly retired from running farm equipment the last few years. As we upgraded tractors and combines he doesn’t like the new ones and has no desire to run anything with a monitor in it. He still mows the yard at the farm and we’ll let him work ground in a few of our big square 100 acre fields where there’s less chance of breaking something. Taking him out of the semi at harvest was the hardest thing. We built a new shop with an attached office 10 years ago and that has been the best thing for him. He can come and hang out in the shop, sit in his recliner and watch what’s going on.
