I think one of the things you need to look at is something to fill your dad's time - replace his tractor driving with something else. I don't know what that would be. But I think it is something you need to focus on.


Somebody else suggested a lawn tractor, is he ever interested in gardening, that can suck up a lot of time and be quite satisfying. Any other hobbies? Does he like calves? Is he the sort that gets interested in new hobbies, even if he doesn't follow through very long, it could make it easier. Anything he can teach the grandkids if there's any around.
