Subject: RE: not much help

Pittsburg, Kansas

It definitely made me more aware of deer on the road possibilities! I keep an eye out!

Put 8,500 mostly country gravel road miles on one small dual purpose motorcycle (Kawasaki KLX230) since the accident and several thousand miles on my 4 other motorcycles (not counting wife's two that I ride sometimes). Seen many deer since but luckily only one close call and another I had to hit the brakes to avoid. So far so good. Two out of three days I am out see at least one deer during the ride.

Since this thread is about old guys, riding motorcycles is one of my activities to help keep me young. Helps me with balance and coordination. The dirt bike (Honda CRF250F) I ride in timber trails and the pasture keeps my reaction and senses going in the brain, which hopefully keeps my brain synapses energized. So the various motorcycles are part of my old age mental and physical therapy. Did about 150 miles locally today on the Honda CRF450RL.
