| Automation comes in batches,then pauses.Back 15-20 years ago they put 3 robots into my assembly line.Of the 3 workers they replaced one was retiring anyway,one had hip problems and took a forklift job and one walked back and forth all day spot checking torques from the robots work. The rest of the department had little impact from the robots. Several years later the same thing happened again,,the new hires didn't worry,,they thought it had always been this way.Kinda like no-till,,,things can change. | |
