Subject: RE: Size and timing of meals

Nwmo
I got a smoker so I could smoke my own brisket, pork, or whatever I was wanting for the week. No one else except my son will eat anything I smoke. That being said a $65 dollar brisket will last me about 4 days eating it for lunch and supper. That's a hard bill to swallow a couple times a month. Those meals would easily cost me over $20 if I was getting them at a restaurant though. Pork butt is a lot more economical but I have gotten sick of it, Smoked chicken isn't really worth it, my wife can do better in the oven or crock-pot I think. Going to try some chuck roast in the smoker next, found a recipe for poor mans burnt ends but they put brown sugar and barbecue all over them, so I will have to figure out something different with that.
