Subject: RE: Yes do try a rotory rake, but

I'd sure try to round up a rotary rake. I try to borrow my neighbors rotary whenever we have tough drying, which seems like all the time. It does leave a fluffier windrow. We have an old deere bar rake. Most times in 1'st crop we run our H&S tedder over the swaths to get the hay back up in the air. In the thinner crops we'll rake when its tough yet and then fluff up the windrow with the tedder. The hay we baled yesterday was rolled once and then tedded twice.
