Subject: RE: Speeding hay drying?

Grabill, Indiana
This sure has been a tough year to make hay in Iowa. From the lack of rain in June to the extremely inaccurate weather forecasts starting with Memorial Day weekend it seems that every turn is a dead end for us Hay Makers.

I am going to try a tedder next year. Today I started cutting fourth cutting, and it rained. After having 40 to 70% chance of precipitation in the forecast for three days it finally rained. The tedder would help move the hay to dry ground, I might try to rent one from the local MF dealer.
