| To get a meaningful enough increase in the number of calves to bring this market down? Is it likely to be done by enough people giving the old cows 1 more year that would have been culled out along with rolling over spring calves to fall that missed? Or does it take a year of saving more heifers back to grow things? Also what happened to bring the 2015 market crashing down? I remember it. I just don't know if it was mainly heifer retention, keeping old cows, heavy slaughter weights or all 3. | |
